"In the early 90's, I was captivated by a Mary Summer Rain novel entitled Dreamwalker. It depicted a Native American Shaman that through humility, discipline and guidance, raised himself to a very high level of awareness. From his higher vantage point, he could see what was really ailing people. A dreamwalker was capable of moving through reality, dreams, different dimensions and ultimately capable of finding what was making people sick, sad or off course. Incidentally, the beginning melody for this composition was an improvisation that I played to my wife, Laetitia, one night, to help her sleep and then said "wait a minute, that sounds like a tune!" The 5/4 repetitive figure came with a little more work."
